The Dawn Plitzuweit Era begins

WVU women's basketball has a new head coach. Former South Dakota coach Dawn Plitzuweit was formally introduced Tuesday as the sixth head coach in program history. According to director of athletics Shane Lyons, her stellar resume made her stand out as the candidate best suited to replace Mike Carey, the program's all-time wins leader, after he retired in March.

Setting the stage for spring football at WVU

Neal Brown is calling it the first "true offseason" for the Mountaineer football program since 2019. The team held its first spring practice Tuesday, and will continue practicing through the Gold-Blue Game on April 23.

Big 12 Tournament Preview

It has been a long and difficult season for the Mountaineers, but they can still make something out of their campaign this week in Kansas City. 
Hosts Nick Farrell and Ryan Decker set the table for the upcoming Big 12 Tournament, which tips off Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET with first round action. No. 9-seed WVU hoops will play No. 8-seed Kansas State in the first round, with the winner advancing to play Kansas Thursday in the quarterfinals.
